Overview
Arun valley lies in the Makalu- barun National park, between Sagarmatha and Makalu. It is a diverse region with stunning terraced landscape and prosperous in the wilderness.It is less touristy area and an exceptional route, which has been discovered by trekkers who enjoy trekking and who loves isolated valleys. This trek begins from Tumlingtar after certain time we will reach to Lukla, during this time we will cross the Sherpa, Rai, Limbu village and their settlements,we will see beautiful paradise of eastern Nepal. We will be able to see beautiful view of Mount Everest, Thamserku, Makalu,Ama Dablam and so on. Arun valley is mysterious and extremely comprehensive with the gorgious brilliant of profuse hills and rhododendron forest.
Today is the first day of your journey today our team will be there to receive you in the Airport and today we will explore the local area of Kathmandu, and stay overnight at hotel in the Kathmandu.
As we all know Kathmandu is rich in culture and tradition, we can also see different tradition and cultural value in Kathmandu. We can see different world heritage site such as Pashupatinath temple, Swyambhunath temple, Bauddhanath temple and so on. Today we will visit certain place of Kathmandu and explore these place such as Kathmandu Darbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa, after this we will visit Bauddhanath Stupa and then Pashupatinath temple where we will be able to see Prist doing AArati in the evening and in the morning. Today we will also stay overnight at hotel in the Kathmandu.
Today we will travel from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar which takes certain minute from Kathmandu by flight This is our starting point of our journey today we will walk through the forested trail and decline through Arun river, crossing it on a bridge, we will also pass through the sub-tropical forest, and continue ours trek through the bank of Arun river through different ethnic village such as Rai, brahmin, Chhetri village and then we will reach to Kartike. Hence, we will stay overnight over here.
Early in the morning we will trek from Kartike to Gothe which is (755m). Our trial climb through Sal forest and we will pass certain villages. To reach the Rai village of Marduwa we most continue our trail through rice terraces, we will also walk through banana farms to arrive in Gothe Bazaar, also today we will stay overnight at Gothe.
Today is the fifth day of our journey today we will walk through Rai and Sherpa Village crossing suspension bridge from irkhuwa Khola to reach Dobane. We will also pass through beautiful village of Tendor and Tallo Phedi, and we will arise through porch field and then we will follow through the south bank of Irkhuwa Khola. Today we will meet our destination to Phedi and stay overnight at Phedi.
Today we will pass the trail through leafy rhododendron forest to reach Salpa Pokhari. Situated in Salpa Bhanjyang, Salpa Pokhari is a holy pond, visited by bunch of Hindu pilgrims each year during the full moon of October. The area is bounded by hemlock and fir trees which is abundant with various birds, flora, and fauna. We will see beautiful view of Makalu which is (8463m) and the altitude of Chamlang which is (7321m) also can be viewed from Salpa Bhanjyang. Today we will reach Salpa Bhanjyang and extend downwards to the headstream and then move on the path towards the hillside and through the damp forest to reach Sanam. Today also we will stay Overnight at Sanam.
Today our trek begins from Sanam to Bung which is (1900m) today we will polp through through rhododendron forest , brown oaks which is towards the village of Sorung. After certain hour of trek from Shorung, we will reach the Rai village of Gudel. Cross Hinku River on a steel suspension bridge, after which the main trail descends through a collage of rice, millet and soybean terraces to reach the village of Bung. We also need our Makalu Barun Conservation Area entry permit to enter Bung and stay Overnight in Bung.
Today our trek begins from Bung which is steeply through the cliff of a hill covered in wispy bamboo. Pass Najindingma village and enter a clear area of savannah, used as summer mouching of yaks by the people from surrounding settlements. We will drop across the damp forest which takes us to Gaikharka.. Today we will also explore local place of Gaikharka and stay Overnight at Gaikharka.
Today is the day when we trek to Panggoma from Vasme which is (2804m) we will trek through the rhododendron forest , today we will ascend through the forest takes us to the top of Panggom La Pass which is (3174m), we will be able to see snow covered Mera Peak which is (6476m), Kusum Kanguru which is (6367m), Kangtega which is (6685m), and so on; Then we will descend through the ridge that takes us to the beautiful Sherpa village of Panggom. We will also visit the PaldiOrken Choling Gompa. Hence, stay Overnight in Panggom
Today we will ascend through the beautiful grand forest of rhododendron and oak, we will head towards the Paiya village. A gradual ascend through the ridge takes us to the top of Kari La which have an altitude of (3145m), which serves as a vantage point to view the beauty of Kusum Kanguru which is (6367m), Thamserku (6608m), and Kangtega which is (6685m). We will descend gradually and cross the bridge above Paiya Khola and head towards Paiya. Overnight in Paiya.
Today is the day when we will ascend gradually through the ornate
forest with bleanded greenery to arrive in Chutok La (2945m). Then we will descend to Surke, from where the trail ascends through Chheplung and Nurning to reach Phakding. we will pass many small monasteries and Mani walls before we reach the small Sherpa village of Phakding. Phakding hosts an amazing view of Kusum Kangaru which is (6367m) and Thamserku which is also (6608m). Today we will stay overnigtht at Phakding.
Today we will get down to Phakding, and cross the suspension bridge of Dudh Koshi River and we will also descend through rhododendron and pine forests, after certain time we will reach to Lukla. Today we will also explore the local place and stay overnight in Lukla.
Today we will take a flight to Kathmandu early in the morning; after we reach in Lathmandu we will explore the local area of Kathmandu and we will stay overnight at hotel in the Kathmandu.
Today we will get back to our home country, we will have lots of experience and memories of beautiful Nepal, hope to see you again in Nepal.
