Kanchanjunga BasecampTrek is less crowded But beautiful Trekking Trail in Eastern Himalayan Range. This Trek can be done North and South Base camp Both ways. Mt Kanchenjunga (8586m) is the third highest mountain in the world. This mountain is Bordering Indian Sikkim. The Trekking was opened since 1988, and is an adventurous trek that takes you to the remote areas of the eastern Himalayan region of Nepal, and offers pristine nature, unspoiled culture, as well as a classic Himalayan vista of towering mountains. On this trek, you will enjoy the tantalizing views of the four of the five worlds highest mountains, Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, and Kanchenjunga. The wide range of scenery, with terraced hills with wheat and potato cultivation, lush tropical forest with chestnut and oak, Rhododendron flower leading to the alpine zone, provides you peace and inspiration throughout the trek. The trek also offers an experience of the unique and rich culture of the ethnic Rai, Limbu, and Sherpa communities, almost untouched by the modern world. The diverse and fascinating landscape passes through a conservation area of a wide variety of flora and fauna, river valleys, waterfalls and high passes.
On this particular day, you will land on Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu where you will be warmly received by the representative staffs from Beyond the Limits Treks and Expedition. From TIA, you will be transferred to the hotel in a comfortable vehicle. Arriving at the hotel we will be discussed on the detailed itinerary. Stay overnight.
This is an important day where you get to sightseeing Kathmandu in the proper guidance of our guide. Since you have lots of things to the sight we will be heading in an early morning. There used to an artistic and valuable Durbar Square, at present those monuments are in the critical state though it is equally valued. In Kathmandu you can observe numerous cultural heritage sites which are listed in UNESCO, counting Swyambhunath, Bouddhanath, and Pashupatinath. You will end the sightseeing a little bit earlier as you have to carry out preparation for trekking.
On the 3rd day, you will drive to TIA, Kathmandu from where you will catch the flight to Biratnagar. It is the 2nd largest city in Nepal so you will make use of all facilities. 40 minutes of flight will make you perceive the general lifestyle, the elevated Mountains and all. Then, you will check into the hotel if there is no flight to Suketar. Stay overnight in hotel.
On the next day, you will again drive to the airport and catch the flight to Suketar positioned at 2,420 meters. Once you will turn up at Suketar you can view the setting of the village and take some rest. But if you have spent the night at Phidim, you will drive to Suketar.
On the following day, you will begin to hike downward-moving all through the lower sections of Kanchenjunga region. You will pass all through the fertile valley, attractive meadows, and tiny villages. Passing Hangdewa River and Tamor River will take you downhill to Mitlung. Stay overnight in tented camp.
From Mitlung you will take ascend and downhill be making your way to Sinwa village. You will trek downhill and reach to Tawa. From Tawa, you will pass the suspension bridge and arrive at Chirwa, the Limbu village.
On the next day, you will move from Chirwa to Sukathum pass all through different landscapes, taking uphill and downhill. Trekking all along the Tamar River will make you cross the thick forest and Ghunsa River which will take you to Sukathum.
On the following day, you will stroll to Amjilosa, following the tricky trail. You will pass the suspension bridge, dense forest and take uphill to the vertical trail. You will ascend the gorge and cross Solima village. Again you will take upward and downward moment which will make you reach at Amjilosa.
You will take downhill and reach Phale where you can buy some souvenirs. Then, crossing the forest of pine and conifer will take you to the Sherpa village known as Ghunsa. Ghunsa is acknowledged for hydroelectricity plant.
You will use this day for acclimatization but we will request you stay energetic even in acclimatization day. It is good to carry out short stroll rather than staying idle thus we will take you to hike Laspsan La Monastery after that you will return to the camp and have rest.
Today you will trek along the bank of river viewing the magnificent scene of Mountain. You will cross the meadows, attractive wildflowers, and pine forest. Passing the Rampuk Kharka will make you view amazing Mt Jannu. Discovering and dealing tricky mountain trail will take you to Kambachen.
Experiencing another tricky day you will begin the trek where you will trek all through the rocky pastureland and hillside. Turning up at the waterfall and passing the bridge to Ramtang Monastery will make you downhill to Lhonak.
On the following day, you will trek all along the Kanchenjunga Glacier, Kanchenjunga Base Camp situated at the north side will make you move around the rock section then you will reach Pangpema, a flat and grassy base camp. Ascending a bit higher will make you enjoy the glory of Jannu and Chang Himal.
On the following day, you will repeat your trail to Lhonak and proceed downhill to Ramtang Monastery. The trekking trail will make you view numerous perspective of the mountain such as Gimmigela, Table Shikar, and Mera Peak. Taking some downhill you will arrive at Kambachen.
On the following day, you will again arrive at Ghunsa and it is essential. SO, you will downhill to Ghunsa, enjoying the attractive forest all along with the setting of imposing mountain vistas.
On the following day, you will take steep trek taking ascend from Ghunsa to Sele Le. Arriving at Sele Le you will again ascend through the thick forest and Juniper. Then, you will enjoy your lunch and spent the night.
On the following day, you will take ascend all through charming south rim viewing Jannu Himal and Makalu. You will go for difficult trek passing numerous pass called Sinion La, Sinelapche Bhanjyang, and Mirgin. Taking vertical downhill will take you to Cheram.
On the following day, you will go upward toward Yalung Glacier and hike all along the Simbuwa Khola, passing all through Lapsang village and turn up at Ranch. We will walk ahead of the valley. Then, you will go after the stream viewing the quick look of Jannu Himal. Taking downhill you will turn up at Cheram.
On the following day, you will take downhill to Tortong where you will come across 2 trails. You will trek further along the Simbuwa Khola. You will enjoy the lush rhododendron forest throughout the trail.
From Tortong you will take downhill to Yamphudin passing Lasiya Bhanjyang. You will stroll all through taking downhill of Yamphudin, which is inhabited by Rais, Sherpa, and Limbu.
On the following day,y you will take downhill from Yamphudin, pass the bridge at Samekham and will prolong to Kabeli Khola. Passing Mamankhe and the bridge above Khaksewa Khola you will ascend all through the cardamom forest where you will pass some villages. Again taking downhill you will arrive at Yangpang.
From Thorpu you will all set to trek Illam where you will get to view Illam tea garden. It is suitable for the people who cannot manage to travel Darjeeling. You can have the pleasant view of the Himalayas and lovely villages.Stay overnight.
